Good news Ireland…we’re back!

We’re pleased to announce that we have recently re-established a presence in Ireland for 2019! With the confirmation of Mark McAreavey as our Belfast-based Ireland lead, we are now able to offer our professional filming, editing and broadcast services across the UK and Ireland.

Mark joins the FilmMyMatch team with great pedigree. Boasting a wealth of filming and analysis experience, he has worked with a host big names in the world of sport. Over the last four years he has been a large part of Netball Northern Ireland, providing the insight needed for the squad to make informed progression and challenge at the top of the sport. Part of his work with the netball squad saw him head over to the Gold Coast for The Commonwealth Games this year (2018). Whilst on the sunny shores of Australia Mark also assisted in work with the swimming squad and can boast working with multiple sports at international level.

Coming from a background in Gaelic Football, Mark has worked his way up with stints at top universities in Belfast in the form of Queen’s and St Mary’s. Northern Ireland Hockey have also benefitted from his insight, along with many grassroots teams and organisations.

UK-wide presence

To date, FilmMyMatch has predominantly covered the North West, Midlands and South East regions of England, as well as Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland. Having briefly established a presence in the Republic of Ireland during 2017, we have been keen to identify the right person to help us build on this work and provide our services to the extensive and passionate grassroots sport market in both Northern and Southern Ireland. We are confident that Mark will enable us to achieve this aim, and he has already helped us to service football, rugby and golf clients from Belfast to Dublin.
